The Athletic Booster Club
“Sport, ...a school of human virtue.” Pope John Paul II
Who: The St. John’s Athletic Booster Club is a non-profit volunteer organization composed of students, parents, coaches, administrators, and benefactors. We are dedicated to promoting excellent athletic programs offered at St. John’s; to educate and cultivate the importance of athletics within the school and community; to encourage good sportsmanship; and to promote school spirit and Catholic virtues.
Why: The St. John’s Athletic Booster Club believes that athletics are an integral part of the educational experience. We are convinced that sport is a school of human virtue (Pope John Paul II) and contributes to the well being of our children.
What: We provide financial and moral support for all. We raise funds by soliciting memberships (both individual and corporate); donate to specific sport programs; foster catholic virtues; promote pubic awareness; host fundraising events; sell retail items such as t-shirts, sweat shirts, etc; and finance team parties.
Where: The St. John’s Athletic Booster Club monthly meeting is held at the school.
When: The St. John’s Athletic Booster Club meetings are scheduled when necessary.
