On Day 3 of Catholic School’s Week, St. John School today celebrated their buddies from the SJS Buddy Program! Originally scheduled for Tuesday, but postponed due to the snow day, Buddy Appreciation and Dress-Down/Color day proved to be a fun day, as always for all! The buddy grades wore matching colored t-shirts and joined together to make Community Appreciation cards. Pictured here are the 3rd and 7th grade buddies, dressed in their assigned color, blue holding posters that they made for The Acton Library and The Estuary Council of Seniors.
As we know, the newly formed SJS Choir went most recently last week to The Estuary Council of Seniors to provide entertainment during their lunch. In addition, they were the choir in the loft at the St. John School Catholic School’s Week Mass this past Sunday and also sang at the SJS Open House. We are so grateful for their talents and the joy they provide for all. We are so blessed to have Mrs. Haylon as choir director! Today, Grade 8 had the task, as leaders and role models of the St. John School student body, to teach the religion class to the remaining grades in the school. We thank them for sharing their religious knowledge, and efforts of spiritual leadership. Tomorrow, the last day of Catholic School’s Week, we celebrate our beloved St. John School Teachers and Support Staff!
