St. John Students Speak at Seven Local Area Parishes

Oct 5 2017

Over two weekends in September, St. John students spoke at local area parishes to coincide with the annual Diocese of Norwich Catholic Schools collection. St. John School students took the opportunity to thank the local parishioners for their support and encouragement of our school. As we all know, we are very fortunate to have the support of our local pastors and parishioners who help keep our tuition affordable.

Twenty students from PreK to Grade 8 spoke and handed out fliers at seven parishes. The students spoke about our school, thanked parishioners, and invited parishioners to check out our website and recommend St. John School if they know of someone who may be interested. Mother Elaine attended many of these Masses along with our student volunteers, and she was very grateful that so many students and their parents volunteered to thank our supporters and highlight our wonderful school.
